Nineacres Facilities.

The campsite is split in to four different camping fields.

The Main Field and Activity Field are both large enough for an entire group to camp and still have plenty of space to carry out games and activities.

The backwoods field is a slightly small field but still large enough for a larg camp. This field is situated beside the River Devon and has several single trees scattered throughout the field with a wooded area at the far end which is ideal for hammocks and other camping activities.

The Island is the smallest field and as the name suggests is an island with the lade on one side and the River Devon on the other. This is idea for the Zodiac challenge badge.

There are two campfire circles, the main campfire is located on the island which the other at the far end of the site which is ideal for use by users of the Activity Field and Backwoods Field.

A toilet block is located near to the enrance to the site which has a ladies and a gents toilet each with a shower. Toilet paper and hand washing soap is provided free of charge. The showers cost 20p for 6 minutes.

At the main area of the campsite is an Activity Hall which is ideal for indoor games and dining or simply for wet weather activities.

A newly upgraded Cookhouse (kitchen) is also located at the lower main area of the campsite which has a 6 burner electric cooker & oven, griddle plate, water boiler, hot and cold running water, commercial size fridge and a large freezer. Pots, pans and utensils are provided.

Car and minibus parking is available at the top field near to the entrance to the site and the toilet block.  Users can drive down to the lower car parking area to drop off equipment and supplies but we do not permit vehicles to be driven on to the camp fields.
